CurioVault Publisher is an in-house tool that generates, manages and publishes the short videos of the CurioVault YouTube channel. Its official website is https://curiovault.online. This policy explains what information the tool accesses through Google, how it is used and how its access can be removed.

Google OAuth and YouTube API Services

CurioVault Publisher uses Google OAuth 2.0 to sign in and YouTube API Services (the YouTube Data API and the YouTube Analytics API) to publish videos and to read their statistics. By using CurioVault Publisher you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service; Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

What the tool accesses

CurioVault Publisher only accesses the Google account and the YouTube channel that are explicitly authorized on Google's consent screen. It asks for three permissions and uses them as follows:

The tool does not access any other account or Google service. It does not delete videos, does not edit videos after they are uploaded, does not read the text of comments, and does not read messages, contacts or revenue data.

How the information is used

Storage and security

OAuth tokens are stored in a file on the tool's private server storage. The identifiers, privacy status and statistics of the videos it published are stored in the tool's private database. Both are hosted with a cloud hosting provider that acts only as infrastructure. They are not published, access to the tool's management interface requires a secret key, and tokens are not written to its logs.

Sharing

CurioVault Publisher does not sell user data, does not use it for advertising and does not share or transfer it to third parties. Data obtained from Google APIs is exchanged only with Google and YouTube, as needed to provide the functions described above. The other services the tool uses to produce a video (text generation, web search, voice synthesis and stock footage) receive only material of the video being produced - its topic, public research excerpts and its script; they never receive data obtained from Google APIs.

CurioVault Publisher's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Revoking access, retention and deletion

Access can be revoked at any time from the Google Account that granted it, at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions: select CurioVault Publisher and remove its access. From that moment the stored tokens stop working and the tool can no longer publish or read anything. Tokens are kept only to operate the tool, and the statistics of published videos are kept as the channel's own performance history. To ask for stored tokens or data to be deleted, write to kaichodegiorgis@gmail.com.
